Michael Bates, proprietor of the blog, BatesLine.com, is battling the Tulsa World newspaper in Oklahoma. It's Blogs vs MSM. It's Competition vs. Monopoly. To give you a taste of what this is all about, Tulsa World has legally threatened Bates with, among other things, creating "unauthorized links to [the Tulsa World] website."
