The $250 Billion Abomination
A bill was introduced today by the Louisiana Senators asking the country's taxpayers to fork over $250 billion for the Katrina recovery effort. This is ON TOP of the $62 billion that Congress has already approved and DOES NOT include requested funds for Mississippi and Alabama. You can read more about it at Porkopolis and NTU's blog.
