More Pork Fiascos
First, there was Don Young's "Bridge to Nowhere" that Senator Tom Coburn tried to defund. Then, as I reported yesterday, there was Senator Thad Cochran who is attempting to name a building after himself. Now Tim Chapman of Townhall.com has found this. The "Love Thyself" climate in the Senate is like a dense fog... UPDATE (1:14pm): In response to the Cochran debacle, Jeff Dirksen at NTU's blog suggests that Senators pay for naming rights out of their own pockets. Nice.
