David Obey is Not Serious About Earmarks
Congressman David Obey (D-WI) is current debating Flake on his amendments. He claims that the earmark process is out of control. He claims that there's no oversight. He claims that the "Bridge to Nowhere" was the mother of all earmarks. He sounds pretty good, right? Wrong. Obey voted YES on the Highway Bill last year which included the "Bridge to Nowhere". Don't believe the platitudes.
