What's on the Horizon?

The WSJ's Washington Wire has the scoop:

Conservative Club for Growth turns its attention to the November elections. President Pat Toomey has budgeted about $3 million for a dozen races, and will announce soon his targets. Club for Growth claimed its biggest victory earlier this week, by helping oust Michigan one-term Republican incumbent Joe Schwarz in his primary, in favor of Tim Walberg. The organization has two more Republican primaries in its sights before it pivots fully to the general election. Next Tuesday, they’re pushing state legislator Sharron Angle for a House seat in Nevada (against state Rep. Dawn Gibbons). And on Sept. 12, they’re hoping Cranston, R.I., mayor Steve Laffey will unseat incumbent Republican Sen. Lincoln Chafee.
