Now Batting for the Club for Growth...

I'll be out of the office this week. I'm going to visit my sister in North Carolina for a day or two and then go to Kansas to see the fam for the rest of the week. I'll be back next Monday, December 18.

While I'm gone, I probably won't be blogging much, if at all. But rest assure, David will be blogging as usual, and I've also invited an All-Star lineup of guest bloggers. Here they are:

Tim Chapman: As the Director of Media and Public Policy for the Heritage Foundation, Chapman has established himself as an up-and-coming political insider here in DC. He's got great connections, has a regular column at Townhall.com, and writes about the behind-the-scenes action on Capitol Hill on his own blog at TimChapmanBlog.com.

Freeman Hunt: Arkansas has Bill Clinton, Mike Huckabee, and Freeman Hunt...and one out of 3 ain't bad considering that Hunt is arguably one of the most underrated bloggers out there. She's got a great writing style and a level-headed approach to limited government. She's also big into photography. Here's her blog.

Jon Henke: After the unfortunate "Macaca" incident, the George Allen campaign recognized Henke's talent and called on him to stop the bleeding, but it was too late. Had they hired him beforehand as their new media guy, Allen might still be in the Senate. Currently, Henke writes at the Q&O blog, which was recently nominated for the "Best Centrist Blog" award, but don't be fooled by the misnomer. The banner at Q&O explains it all - "Free Markets, Free People". Go vote for him when you get the chance.

While all three of them are politically to the right of the soup spoon on fiscal issues, I have to issue the standard disclaimer: Their views are entirely their own and may or may not represent the views held by myself or the Club for Growth.

If you want to provide feedback to any of them while they're here, you can visit their respective blogs to get their contact information. Or you can send us an email and we'll make sure they get it.
