How Big is the Government?

Former Commerce Secretary Don Evans is the guest anchor on CNBC's Squawk Box this morning. Evans, along with the usual group of hosts, were just now talking about how government estimates of payroll statistics are always filled with errors.

Most astonishingly, one of the errors is that the government can't correctly identify the number of its own employees.
