Flake Passed Over for Approps Seat
The Republican Steering Committee chose Rep. Jo Bonner over Jeff Flake for the open seat on the Appropriations Committee. What a missed opportunity. It's still business as usual on Capitol Hill.
FYI...Bonner got a 2% on the Club's 2007 RePORK Card. That the same score received by liberals Steny Hoyer, "Dollar" Bill Jefferson, and James Moran.
