Club for Growth PAC Releases New Ad in PA-10
Washington - Today, the Club for Growth PAC is releasing a $90,000 ad buy on broadcast television in Pennsylvania's Tenth Congressional District.
Entitled, "Another Politician," the ad seeks to educate voters about the key differences between the two Republican candidates in the race, Dan Meuser and Chris Hackett. Meuser claims he is an economic conservative, but refuses to sign a pledge swearing off pork-barrel projects. Congress has already spent billions of American tax dollars on such wasteful pork projects as the Bridge to Nowhere, a teapot museum in Alaska, a Lobster Institute in Maine, and a mule and packers museum in California. Now Meuser refuses to take the necessary steps to fight against this wasteful spending spree in Congress. In contrast, Chris Hackett has signed the anti-earmark pledge and has demonstrated the kind of principled conservatism Republican voters can depend on.
"Congress has plenty of go-along, get-along politicians who happily support pork projects so they can receive their share of the bacon pie," said Club for Growth President Pat Toomey. "If elected to Congress, Chris Hackett can be counted on to fight to protect taxpayer dollars. That's the kind of representative voters in the Tenth Congressional District can be proud of."
The $90,000 ad buy will run on broadcast television in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre market through primary day.
PAID FOR BY CLUB FOR GROWTH PAC AND NOT AUTHORIZED BY ANY CANDIDATE OR CANDIDATE'S COMMITTEE. 202-955-5500.
