A Failed Attempt to Cut Farm Subsidies

Rep. Jeff Flake offered a motion yesterday to keep farm subsidy caps at $40,000 per person instead of the $60,000 limit proposed in the new Farm Bill. It failed 157-259, with 86 Republicans voting the wrong way.
