New PAC Ad in CA-04

Club for Growth PAC Releases Ad in CA-04

Washington - Today, the Club for Growth PAC released a television ad in California's Fourth Congressional District. The ad buy will run on broadcast television in the Sacramento market and cable systems throughout the Fourth District.

Entitled "Puzzle," the ad seeks to educate voters about Doug Ose's liberal record when he served in Congress. Ose is currently running millions of dollars in ads but he is leaving out the most important pieces of the puzzle, including his votes to waste billions of tax dollars on wasteful pork projects. These projects include The Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Texas, peanut competitiveness, and an indoor rainforest in Iowa. Ose also voted for a Democrat budget and huge new entitlement spending-votes he conveniently neglects to mention in his own ads.

"Apparently, Doug Ose thinks taxpayers should be paying for a Cowgirl Hall of Fame and an indoor rainforest-he just doesn't want taxpayers to know about it," said Club for Growth Executive Director David Keating. "But taxpayers deserve to know about the crucial differences between big-spending Doug Ose and conservative stalwart Tom McClintock. If elected, Doug Ose will continue to waste taxpayer dollars just like he did when he served in Congress initially. Tom McClintock will fight against the wasteful spenders just like he has done throughout his time in the California Legislature."
