Club for Growth PAC-Endorsed Candidate Tom McClintock Wins CA-04 Primary
Washington – Last night, Club for Growth PAC-endorsed candidate State Senator Tom McClintock won a landslide victory in the Republican primary for the congressional seat in California’s Fourth District, being vacated by Rep. John Doolittle. The Club for Growth PAC bundled over $200,000 for Tom McClintock in his primary race and spent nearly $100,000 on ads.
Tom McClintock is revered in California for being a conservative superstar in the State Legislature. He has long fought for lower taxes and opposed wasteful government spending even when it meant taking on members of his own party. Despite being drastically outspent by his opponent, Republican voters rallied to McClintock’s message of economic conservatism.
