Drudge's top headline links to this story. It reads, "House Democrats call for nationalization of refineries."
The story quotes Rep. Maurice Hinchey (D-NY). He said, "We (the government) should own the refineries. Then we can control how much gets out into the market."
Wow. Explicit, in-your-face socialism. Hugo Chavez couldn't have said it any better.
UPDATE: Despite this being a serious subject and a troubling one at that, the behind-the-curtain chatter among conservatives is getting hysterical. One email I've received said, "Ayn Rand called - she wants the Democrats to stop stealing her storylines."
And, "Paging Hugo Chavez...you're needed in the Speaker's Chair."
