Senator Saxby Chambliss, up for re-election, is up only 6 points against his Democratic challenger, Jim Martin. The Rasmussen Reports shows the race at 48% to 43%. It's the first time that Chambliss is under 50%.

Does Chambliss' drop in the polls has anything to do with his Gang of 10 membership? It's hard to think otherwise.
