Club for Growth PAC Places Ad Buy in Maryland-01
Washington – The Club for Growth PAC is running two ads in Maryland’s First Congressional District, highlighting Frank Kratovil’s out-of-touch positions. The $100,000 ad buy will run on broadcast television in the Baltimore and Salisbury markets.
These two ads tell voters about how liberal and out-of-touch Frank Kratovil is on economic issues. Voters deserve to know that Kratovil supports universal health care that could cost taxpayers billions of dollars and put crucial health care decisions in the hands of government bureaucrats. They deserve to know about Kratovil’s cozy relationship with Big Labor, in which he took thousands of dollars from big labor unions, whose top priority is passing legislation that would strip workers of their right to a secret ballot election.
“Frank Kratovil is trying to present himself as a moderate,” said Club for Growth President Pat Toomey, “but it is clear from his positions that he is far outside the mainstream. His support for universal health care and his relationship with Big Labor is out-of-touch with voters in Maryland’s First Congressional District. Instead, voters should support State Senator Andy Harris, who has a proven track record of fighting for lower taxes and less government spending. He will be the kind of representative taxpayers can count on.”
