Former Utah State Representative Chris Herrod is running for the open House seat formerly held by recently-resigned Congressman Jason Chaffetz (Lifetime CFG Ratings: 90%). Herrod is the only proven conservative in the race, and his strongest opponent is liberal Provo Mayor John Curtis, a former Democrat with a long record of supporting higher taxes and bigger government.
It was a tough fight, but Chris Herrod lost the election, getting 2nd place behind John Curtis
