Race Details

Senator Bob Corker (CFG Lifetime Rating: 80%) is retiring from his Senate seat, leaving an open race that could attract many candidates. Tennessee is a staunchly conservative, strongly Republican state that gave Donald Trump more than 60% of the vote in the 2016 Presidential election, meaning that the winner of the Republican primary will be strongly favored in the 2018 general election. Marsha Blackburn has been the first major GOP candidate to enter this race, and has the chance to establish herself as a formidable contender before other candidates can enter the race.
