Club for Growth PAC Congratulates Rubio & DeSantis in Florida

Washington, DC – The Club for Growth PAC released the following statement after Senator Marco Rubio (FL-Sen) and Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06) were victorious in their primary races:

“The Club for Growth PAC is extraordinarily proud of playing a key role in tonight’s victories by Senator Rubio and Congressman DeSantis,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “The Club’s PAC was instrumental in the elections of Rubio (2010) and DeSantis (2012), and we’ve been behind both pro-growth champions since they launched their re-election campaigns this cycle. The Club’s PAC and Club for Growth Action will continue to fight for their re-election in November.”

  • Senator Marco Rubio has a 93% lifetime score from the Club for Growth and was endorsed for re-election by the Club’s PAC in November 2014.
  • Congressman Ron DeSantis has a 95% lifetime score from the Club for Growth. He was endorsed in May 2015 in his run for the U.S. Senate, and endorsed for re-election to the House when he announced his decision to pursue that seat in June 2016.
