Washington, DC – The Club for Growth PAC released the following statement about tonight’s Kentucky U.S. Senate debate, which included the Club PAC’s endorsed candidate, Sen. Rand Paul:

“The contrast tonight could not have been more stark: Senator Rand Paul stood on a proven record of fighting job-killing federal regulations and opposing wasteful spending in Washington, while Jim Gray offered liberal talking points, big Clintonesque spending plans, and no solutions for stopping the Democrats’ war on coal,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “While Senator Paul has actually proposed federal budgets that would balance, Jim Gray is proud of the massive debt racked up by Barack Obama and is eager to grow it past $20 trillion by following Hillary’s blueprint.”
