Washington, DC – The Club for Growth PAC released the following statement congratulating Senator Ron Johnson on his re-election to the U.S. Senate from the state of Wisconsin:

“Wisconsin won a huge victory tonight be re-electing Ron Johnson,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Club for Growth PAC believed that Ron Johnson could win re-election even when other groups had shifted their resources elsewhere, and that’s why the Club’s Super PAC was running independent expenditures in Wisconsin in mid-October. I am pleased that other groups followed CFG Action back to Wisconsin and did a great job of supporting him. Tonight economic conservatives are celebrating a great victory by Ron over a far-left liberal ideologue.”

• Club for Growth Action, the Club’s Super PAC, invested more than $1.8 million in independent expenditures to re-elect Ron.

• Sen. Johnson has a 90% lifetime score from the Club for Growth for his votes to cut taxes and regulations, and to expand economic opportunity.
