Key Vote Alert – “NO” on Clean Debt Ceiling Increase

The Club for Growth urges all members of the House to vote “NO” on the upcoming clean debt ceiling increase. A vote is expected later tonight. The vote will be included in the Club’s 2014 Congressional Scorecard.

When we heard that House leadership was scheduling a clean debt ceiling increase, we thought it was a joke. But it’s not. Something is very wrong with House leadership, or with the Republican Party. This is not a bill that advocates of limited government should schedule or support.

Our Congressional Scorecard for the 113th Congress provides a comprehensive rating of how well or how poorly each member of Congress supports pro-growth, free-market policies and will be distributed to our members and to the public.
