WASHINGTON – Club for Growth PAC is enjoying the most successful primary season in its history, and one of the best of any PAC in memory.

“Welcome to Generation Club,” said Club President Chris Chocola.  “Pro-growth conservatives are making history this election year, and Club for Growth PAC’s winning streak is a big part of the reason why.”

Last night, House candidate Tim Scott (SC-01) and Jeff Duncan (SC-03) won their respective primary runoffs, and are now heavy favorites to win their races in November.  They join 2010 Senate Republican nominees Sharron Angle (Nev.) and Pat Toomey (Pa.),and new Congressman Tom Graves (GA-09) as Club PAC winners already this year.  Mike Lee’s victory in the Utah Republican Senate primary last night was also made possible by the Club PAC, whose “Stop Bob Bennett” campaign succeeded last month in eliminating the three-term incumbent from the primary at last month’s state convention.

In addition to this formal winning streak, Club PAC endorsements have also helped expose two “shoo-in” Republican candidates as unprincipled frauds – Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania and Charlie Crist of Florida – both of whom have since left the GOP.

“The 112th Congress is looking better all the time,” Chocola said.  “The success of Club for Growth PAC and our candidates this year proves once again that when economic conservatives stand on their principles, good things happen.”
