Club for Growth PAC Assesses Economic Portion of Presidential Debate

“There’s a night-and-day difference between the two candidates on economic policy”

Washington, DC – The Club for Growth PAC released the following statement after the “Achieving Prosperity” segment of tonight’s presidential debate:

“There’s a night-and-day difference between the two candidates on economic policy,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Donald Trump wants to cut taxes and slash unnecessary regulations, while Hillary Clinton will raise taxes and continue the Washington regulatory industry. Clinton’s plan is a job-crushing assault on economic growth. Her tired old ideas of class envy and government handouts will continue to punish middle-class working families. Both plans would be weakened by their calls for protectionist tariffs.”

Club for Growth PAC is a political arm of the Club for Growth, a 501(c)(4).
