Policy Director
Policy Director Position Overview:
Club for Growth seeks an in-office Policy Director to advance the Club for Growth’s policy agenda. Working from our Washington D.C. office, the Policy Director will report to the Vice President of Government Affairs and analyze legislation, conduct research, and work to promote free-market, limited-government principles. The Policy Director also collaborates with affiliated organizations to advance innovative policy proposals, including digital asset policy and to educate emerging leaders and the public on the foundational principles of free market conservatism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and promote pro-growth, free-market policy initiatives by drafting and advocating legislative proposals in coordination with the Vice President of Government Affairs and other senior leaders.
- Engage directly with congressional staff and executive branch officials to advance the Club’s legislative priorities.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on federal economic policies and regulatory trends to inform advocacy strategy and identify emerging opportunities.
- Represent the Club in meetings with policymakers, coalition partners, and at policy events and conferences to build support for the Club’s mission.
- Collaborate with the affiliated organizations to develop and refine policy papers and to educate the public.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience including Capitol Hill
- Demonstrated understanding of conservative economic policy, including taxation, trade, regulatory reform, digital assets, and government spending.
- Strong policy writing skills and the ability to rapidly distill complex legislative matters into clear, persuasive communications.
- Existing relationships on Capitol Hill and within the conservative policy community
- Strong alignment with the Club’s mission to advance economic liberty and limited government.
- Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects with precision and urgency.
Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation potential for this position is 90,000-140,000 commensurate with experience and additional bonus compensation potential.
