Jim Banks

Biography

Club for Growth PAC endorsed Banks in his 2016 Republican Primary for the House of Representatives. Banks is a 3-time winner of the Club’s Defender of Economic Freedom Award. Banks recently completed a two-year Chairmanship of the Republican Study Committee, and then lost a close race to be the Republican Whip in the new House Republican Majority. He is a proven conservative and a champion for Club for Growth on fighting for economic freedom, liberty, and opportunity. Banks supports term limits.

Congressman Jim Banks is a native Hoosier, born and raised in Columbia City. Congressman Banks, and his wife Amanda, are the parents to three daughters, Lillian, Elizabeth, and Joann.
