Mayra Flores

Biography

Born in Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Mayra Flores was raised with strong conservative values and immigrated to the US at six years old, but didn’t become a US citizen until she was 14. She earned a bachelor’s degree from South Texas College and started her career as a respiratory care practitioner. During a special election, Mayra won and quickly established herself as a conservative champion in Congress, advocating for policies that align with her strong values. If reelected, she will continue to fight for the interests of South Texans, prioritizing economic growth and the protection of individual freedoms, ensuring that her constituents’ voices are heard and represented in Washington.
