CLUB FOR GROWTH PAC STATEMENT ON JD VANCE’S OHIO SENATE CANDIDACY

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth PAC released the following statement in response to the announcement of JD Vance’s Ohio Senate campaign.

“Ohioans are asking, ‘Who’s the real JD Vance?’ He says he’s from Middletown, but he made a boatload dissing his former neighbors to sell his book. He claims to be a Trump Republican, but in the short time Mr. Vance has been active in politics he’s spent the bulk of it tearing down President Trump and mocking Trump voters. He says he’s a conservative, but in fact he favors more government control on individuals and businesses, supports more Big Government spending, and even calls for higher taxes. Voters in Ohio deserve a real conservative and they have it in Josh Mandel.” – Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh
