CFG Action: Cruz and Rubio Rout the Field Tonight

Washington, DC – Club for Growth Action, a political arm of the Club for Growth, released the following statement after tonight’s Republican Presidential Debate:

“There were two clear Constitutional conservatives on the stage tonight: Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio,” said Club for Growth president David McIntosh. “Senator Cruz called out the liberal views that Donald Trump has touted for years, while Senator Rubio pointed out that Trump wants high tariffs that will be paid for by American consumers. Rubio and Cruz certainly have their differences, but they proved again tonight that on pro-growth economic issues, they are the class of the field.”
