IRS Reportedly Wasted $12 Million on an Unusable Email System

The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) just released a report that found the IRS authorized the purchase of $12 million in subscriptions for an enterprise email system that was never properly installed. Besides violating several federal requirements for how these sorts of products are acquired, this is a clear misuse of taxpayer dollars, and certainly deserves scrutiny!
