Key Vote Alert – SENATE – Confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson
The Club for Growth opposes the confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson to be Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, and urges all Senators to vote NO. A vote is likely to occur soon. The results of this vote will be included in the Club for Growth Foundation’s 2022 congressional scorecard.
Nominations to the Supreme Court are among the most important votes a Senator can ever take. A nominee must always adhere to the Constitution and rule of law.
Unfortunately, Jackson is an activist judge. The nominee’s record indicates she will be a radical Justice that legislates from the bench, embraces the administrative state over the Constitution, and will not enforce existing law if it conflicts with her radically progressive ideology. Her background and record also indicate her ideology is consistent with a cultural Marxist that will advocate Critical Race Theory rather than individual liberty and freedom.
Club for Growth Foundation’s Congressional Scorecard for the 117th Congress provides a comprehensive rating of how well or how poorly each member of Congress supports pro-growth, free-market policies and will be distributed to the public.
