Key Vote Alert – YES on Nomination of Eugene Scalia

  |

Club for Growth supports the nomination of Eugene Scalia to be the Secretary of the Department of Labor and urges all Senators to vote YES on the nomination.  A vote on the nomination is expected soon in the Senate.  The results of the vote will be included in the Club for Growth Foundation’s 2019 Congressional Scorecard.

President Trump nominated Eugene Scalia to be Secretary of the Department of Labor on Sept. 11, 2019. Scalia’s work to reduce regulatory burdens has resulted in more job creation and a stronger U.S. economy. The Secretary of Labor must continue to address the burdens faced by the labor force and Scalia’s experience proves he has the ability to lead this important endeavor.

Club for Growth Foundation’s Congressional Scorecard for the 116th Congress provides a comprehensive rating of how well or how poorly each member of Congress supports pro-growth, free-market policies and will be distributed to the public.
