New Ads Expose Fagg’s Failures on the Bench
Today, Club for Growth Action announced the release of new TV, radio, and digital ads that document Russ Fagg’s weak record on public safety. This is an additional $250,000 expenditure on top of an existing ad buy.
Upon release of the ads, Club for Growth Action President David McIntosh stated, “Russ Fagg talks about ‘Montana Values,’ but his own values would take Montana in a very bad direction. Time and time again, when Russ had the opportunity to stand up for victims and against criminals, he chose to defend the latter. Fagg even praised other judges for very poor choices. Now that he’s running for Senate, Russ Fagg is trying to tell a different story. We won’t let him get away with that. The people of Montana deserve a U.S. Senator who tells the truth and that’s why Club for Grow Action is determined to continue to educate voters across the state about Fagg’s real record.”

Russ Fagg says look at his record. OK.
Fagg defended a judge who suggested a 14-year-old rape victim was to blame for her own attack.
Fagg said a judge who undercut Trump’s effort to rollback job-killing environmental rules was a “thoughtful moderate.”
And while Fagg talks tough on immigration, he praised a liberal federal judge who ruled against speeding up deportations.
Russ Fagg’s values are not Montana values.

W: Well, I’m right again.
M: What now?
W: Remember you said it’s hard to believe Russ Fagg cut 45 years off the maximum sentence for that guy who attacked a woman and her six-year old?
W: Well, now Fagg admits it.
W: Fagg says that’s what the prosecutor wanted . . .
M: So, tough guy Fagg just does what the prosecutor says? That’s pretty wimpy.
W: It’s pretty political. Fagg claims credit for a popular sentence and points at somebody else when it’s unpopular.
M: Whoa, it’s worse. I just checked out that FactsForMontana.com website. It shows where Fagg praised some liberal judge who ruled against immigration rules designed to deport illegals and ruled against Trump for cutting back those goo-goo environmental rules that are killing jobs.
W: Fagg praised the guy?
M: Yep. Look it up. FactsForMontana.com. Russ Fagg used to be a judge. Now, he’s just another politician.
