Biography
Keith Faber is a graduate of Oakland University (B.S.) and The Ohio State University (J.D.). He served in the Ohio House of Representatives (2001-2007) and the Ohio State Senate (2007-2016), where he led as Senate President from 2013 to 2016. In 2019, Faber was elected as Ohio’s State Auditor, his first statewide office.
As State Auditor, he stood against tax increases and clashed with Republican Governor Mike DeWine on redistricting and the unemployment audit. Faber’s legislative record reflects his commitment to limited government and election integrity. He has consistently opposed tax increases, worked to reduce regulatory burdens, expanded school freedom, and prioritized balanced budgets.
