Biography

Mike Mazzei self-described free-market capitalist, he supports lower taxes, educational freedom, and policies that promote economic growth without government favoritism.

If elected governor, Mazzei would be a leading advocate for educational freedom and a steadfast defender of Right to Work. Mazzei understands the importance of innovation in the modern economy. He supports emerging financial technologies, including digital assets and cryptocurrency, and believes states should foster an environment where innovation can thrive rather than be stifled by excessive regulation.

Race Details

The current Governor of Oklahoma Kevin Stitt is term-limited and cannot run for re-election. Gentner Drummond and Mike Mazzei will face each other in the Republican primary runoff election held on August 25, 2026. The General Election will be held on November 3, 2026, and is SAFE Republican. In 2024, President Trump defeated Kamala Harris in Oklahoma 66.16% to 31.90%.
