Biography
Rick Brattin is a proven conservative leader and small business owner currently serving in the Missouri State Senate. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Brattin brings six years of military service and a steadfast commitment to public service. Prior to his election to the State Senate, he served four terms in the Missouri House of Representatives, where he built a record of advancing principled, pro-growth policies.
Outside of public office, Brattin owns and operates a small construction company, giving him firsthand experience with the challenges facing job creators and entrepreneurs.
Brattin has earned a 90% lifetime rating on the Club for Growth Foundation’s Missouri Scorecard—ranking #1 in the State Senate—reflecting his consistent support for free-market economic policies. He has been a leading voice for property tax cuts, supports implementing a flat tax, and strongly advocates for school choice.
