Biography

Scott Perry worked full time to support himself through college, ultimately graduating from Penn State University in 1991 with a degree in Business Administration Management. In 1980, Perry enlisted in the Army, dedicating 40 years to military service and retiring in 2019 as the Assistant Adjutant General for the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

Simultaneously while being in the military, Perry also served three terms in the Pennsylvania state house from 2006 to 2012, where he earned a reputation for defending taxpayer rights and is also known as the most conservative member of Pennsylvania’s US House delegation.

In 2013, Perry was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives where he is a member of the House Freedom Caucus, as well as a 5X winner of the Club for Growth’s Defender of Economic Freedom award. He has led the charge for House conservatives against bloated budgets and debt limit increases.

Scott and his wife, Christy, reside in Northern York County and have two daughters.
