Farm Bill is Defeated in the House!

The House just defeated the farm bill!  I suspect that House Republican leaders had the necessary GOP votes and were relying on Democrats to give them the rest.  But that didn’t happen.

Total chaos on the House floor right now.  

My guess is that GOP leaders will go to Pelosi and Hoyer and ask them what they want in return for more votes.  Don’t let that happen.  Call your congressman right now and tell him "No more back room deals on the farm bill!"
