Key Vote Alert – NO on “Clean” 45 Day CR
House and Senate – “No” on Continuing Appropriations Act, 2024 and other Extensions
The Club for Growth urges all Representatives and Senators to vote NO on the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2024 and other Extensions Act. The results of this vote will be included in the Club for Growth Foundation’s 2023 congressional scorecard.
Conservatives have rightly demanded that individual appropriations bills be considered under regular order. They have stood strong and demanded common sense spending reductions that will reduce wasteful spending – a sound first step towards addressing our unsustainable debt and putting downward pressure on inflation. Unfortunately, House and Senate leaders are prepared to advance a “clean” 45 day continuing resolution (CR) that will set the stage for a bloated omnibus spending bill. The Club for Growth stands with conservatives fighting for fiscal sanity and urges all members to reject this approach.
Club for Growth Foundation’s Congressional Scorecard for the 118th Congress provides a comprehensive rating of how well or how poorly each member of Congress supports pro-growth, free-market policies and will be distributed to the public.
