KEY VOTE ALERT
Various Amendments to the Minibus (HR 3219)
The Club for Growth is key-voting the following amendments to the “Minibus” spending bill, which includes the Defense, Energy-Water, Military Construction-VA, and Legislative Branch appropriations. The votes on these amendments will be included in the Club’s 2017 congressional scorecard.
YES on King #40 Amendment – this would prohibit funds from being used to implement, administer, or enforce the Davis-Bacon Act in the MilConVA title.
YES on Blackburn #20 – with some exceptions, this would provide for a 1% across-the-board spending cut to the bill’s spending levels.
NO on DelBene-Hunter #6 – this would force the government to use only American-made anchor chain, potentially forcing higher costs on taxpayers.
Our Congressional Scorecard for the 115th Congress provides a comprehensive rating of how well or how poorly each member of Congress supports pro-growth, free-market policies and will be distributed to our members and to the public.
