KEY VOTE ALERT

“Yes” on the Kavanaugh Nomination (PN 2259)

The Club for Growth supports President Trump’s nomination of DC Circuit Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.  A vote is expected in the next few days. The vote will be included in the Club’s 2018 congressional scorecard.

Judge Kavanaugh’s record on the bench affirms his belief in the founders’ original intent when it comes to interpreting the Constitution.  He respects the separation of powers and is skeptical of an overreaching Administrative State.  If confirmed to the Supreme Court, we’re confident that Kavanaugh would rule in favor of a more limited government that is conducive to protecting property rights and growing the economy, which ultimately leads to more economic freedom, a higher standard of living for everyone, and abundant prosperity.

The Club will score the final Senate vote to confirm Kavanaugh, but we reserve the right to score any procedural votes as well.
