Key Vote Alert – “YES” on Three Amendments to H.R. 2740, the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act

Club for Growth supports three amendments to H.R. 2740, the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act and urges all Representatives to vote YES on the amendments listed below.  Votes on these amendments are expected soon in the House of Representatives.  The results of the votes will be included in the Club for Growth Foundation’s 2019 Congressional Scorecard.

• Banks #42 – Reduces spending for each amount in Division A by 14 percent.
• Walker #89 – Eliminates $23.9 billion in funding for programs within the Department of State and USAID and serves as an offset for the recently passed $19.1 billion disaster relief package and its accumulated interest.
• Palmer #91 – Strikes the paragraph that prevents the U.S.’ withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement and strikes the paragraph that allows for payments for the agreement.
