Lauren Bowen

Development Associate

Lauren is the development associate for Club for Growth. Most recently she raised money for operations and outreach at the Freedom Foundation, a conservative nonprofit designed to defund government unions. Consequently, thousands of government employees and teachers dropped union membership, costing teachers’ unions and government unions millions.

She previously led efforts to onboard local governments and schools to the Ohio Checkbook initiative, under the direction of State Treasurer Josh Mandel. This innovative digital tool illuminates how every dime of taxpayer money is spent.

Outside of Christian conservative activism, Lauren enjoys trying new restaurants and collecting early American antiques. Justin, her husband, and little cavapoo Brodie are the center of her universe.

Lauren has a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in International politics from Wright State University.
