BREAKING: CfG Expands School Freedom in IN

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth congratulates Governor Mike Braun and Indiana lawmakers for expanding the state’s Choice Scholarship Program in the budget bill passed Friday morning, which will make all Hoosier families eligible by the 2026-27 school year.

“We applaud the Indiana legislature for delivering on their promise to parents by expanding school freedom,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “Club for Growth is proud to have played a role in this victory for Hoosier students. I look forward to my home state joining the growing number that have taken on education bureaucracies and entrenched special interests to make school freedom universal.”

Club for Growth engaged in a TV and grassroots advocacy campaign encouraging lawmakers to support Governor Braun’s universal school freedom plan in the state budget. After months of negotiation, lawmakers reached a budget agreement this week that fully funded the Choice Scholarship Program, leaving no Hoosier family behind.
