Biography

Cruz was endorsed by Club for Growth PAC in 2012 and 2018. He is a constitutional conservative that has consistently championed economic freedom. Cruz is a leader on the Senate Judiciary Committee and has helped in the confirmation of three Associate Justices to the Supreme Court. Cruz is a fiscal conservative and has also championed school choice and repealing Obamacare in the Senate. He is currently the ranking member of the Senate Commerce Committee. Cruz is the lead sponsor on the constitutional amendment for term limits in the Senate, which has 17 cosponsors
