Club for Growth PAC Endorses Cruz In TX Senate Race

Washington, D.C. — Club for Growth PAC has endorsed Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) in the 2024 U.S. Senate race. Cruz has been endorsed by the Club for Growth PAC since he first ran for Senate in 2012, and was endorsed again in 2018 when he defeated Beto O’Rourke by four points. Cruz holds a 91% lifetime rating on the Club for Growth Foundation’s annual federal economic scorecard. In 2012, Club for Growth Action spent more than $5.5 million and bundled $922,609 on Cruz’s Senate campaign, and in 2018 the group spent more than $1 million and bundled $249,816 for Cruz.

“Senator Cruz has been one of the most important conservative champions in the Senate for over a decade,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “He is one of the Club for Growth’s top allies in the Senate, and his actions speak for themselves. Cruz led the Senate Judiciary Committee to confirm three Associate Justices of the Supreme Court, has fought hard to protect free markets, and is one of the most prominent advocates for school choice in the country. We are very pleased to once again support Cruz’s bid for the Senate.”

Club for Growth PACs are the largest independent political action committees in the country. In the 2022 cycle, Club for Growth PAC endorsed candidates won 75% of their races.
