CFG Action Montana Launches New Ad Exposing Tester’s  Cozy Relationship with Washington Lobbyists

Today, CFG Action Montana launched a new ad, “Your Word Matters,” exposing Jon Tester’s record as a Washington insider who cuts deals with lobbyists at the expense of hard-working Montanans.  The ad will run on broadcast, cable, and satellite TV across the state and is part of an existing buy.

Upon release of the ad, CFG Action Montana President David McIntosh noted, “Montana voters deserve to know the truth about Jon Tester.  He’s broken his word to the people of Montana and sold out to special interests.  While Montanans struggle to make ends meet, Jon Tester goes on lavish international vacations paid for by Washington lobbyists.”

Tester promised not to take any lobbyist gifts or special interest-paid travel.

Tester Quote: “I won’t sell Montana down the road by cutting deals with K Street lobbyists.”

But Tester broke his promise and accepted expensive international travel, including a trip to Cancun. 

And Tester took more than a million dollars in campaign cash from lobbyists. 

Jon Tester.  He’s gone Washington.
