CfG President McIntosh Statement on Passage of Texas SB 2

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth President David McIntosh issue the following statement after the Texas Senate’s vote for final passage of SB 2, the state’s landmark school choice legislation:

Texas lawmakers have taken a bold step toward ensuring that every child—regardless of zip code or income—has access to an education that meets their unique needs.” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “This is more than just a policy win—it is a crowning achievement in the fight for education freedom and parental empowerment. Club for Growth is proud to stand with Governor Abbott and President Trump to make school freedom a reality for every Texas family.”

Club for Growth has invested over $1 million this legislative session to help bring school freedom to Texas, including three TV ads, print digital and radio ads, polling, and grassroots advocacy efforts.

SB 2 now heads to Governor Abbott’s desk.
