CfG President McIntosh Statement on President Trump’s Tariff Announcement

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth President David McIntosh issued the following statement after President Trump’s tariff announcement:

“Free trade is a staple of capitalism and I’m excited to read today that Canada is considering ending tariffs on the United States if the US ends tariffs on Canada. The zero-zero tariff goal is a mutual goal Club for Growth shares with President Trump.
