CfG President McIntosh Statement on Rep. Luna’s DOGE Legislation

  |

Washington, D.C. – Club for Growth President David McIntosh issued the following statement praising Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) for introducing legislation that would formally codify the measures initiated by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The bill, if enacted, would ensure that all reforms, regulatory changes, or cost-saving measures issued by DOGE have the full force and effect of law.

“Club for Growth applauds Rep. Luna’s efforts to ensure that DOGE’s efforts can continue to save taxpayer dollars,” said David McIntosh, President of the Club for Growth. “We encourage all conservatives to support this commonsense legislation.”

“For the first time in decades, we are seeing a successful effort to save valuable taxpayer dollars from the federal government’s rampant waste, fraud, and abuse,” said Representative Luna. “My legislation will ensure that Americans can continue to enjoy a more efficient government and less burdensome regulatory environment. The American people deserve no less!”
