Following the Club for Growth PAC endorsement of Montana Auditor Matt Rosendale in his campaign for Montana’s at-large seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, Club for Growth Action announced it has raised $250,000 for Rosendale’s campaign. Rosendale will face Montana Secretary of State Corey Stapleton in the primary, and Club for Growth Action ran a television advertisementin June highlighting Stapleton’s record of ethics violations and misuse of taxpayer dollars.
“Matt Rosendale has a long record of supporting pro-growth policies and fiscal responsibility, and Club for Growth Action is proud to have raised $250,000 to support his campaign,” said Club for Growth Action President David McIntosh. “We believe Rosendale will be an effective voice in Congress for the policies that grow the economy and jobs, and we look forward to continuing our support for his candidacy.”
Rosendale is running for the Congressional seat that will be vacated by Rep. Greg Gianforte, who announced he is running for Governor of Montana.
